Donut Load Cells for Die Clamping

Review compression force per clamping point, installed height and transient peaks in stamping die fixtures.

Donut sensor axial force and center bore geometry concept
Conceptual geometry; the customer's fixture drawing defines the actual load path.

Define the installed load path and clearance.

Send clamp geometry, force per station, loading and support annuli, preload and cycle rate.

A local clamp reading does not automatically establish total press tonnage. Check off-center loads and dynamic peaks separately.

Agree rated force, peaks and sample acceptance.

Specify working load in lbf, maximum credible peak, OD / ID / height in inches, support and loading-ring geometry, installation method, cycle rate and temperature. Then identify excitation, mV/V sensitivity, instrument and required calibration points.

Approved drawings and configuration-specific documentation govern the supplied sensor. Application examples do not establish a safety-system or regulated-use certification.

Send force and fixture details for this application.

Configure the sensor, mounting and signal
